AndroWriter is a versatile word processor and publishing tool that supports various document formats, including .docx and .doc. It offers a range of features for creating and editing documents, reports, books, and quick memos. The software comprises two main modules:

 <li>Wizards for standard documents such as letters, faxes, agendas, and minutes. It also supports more complex tasks like mail merges. Users can create their own templates or download templates from the Templates repository.</li>

 <li>Table of Contents & References feature to enhance the utility of long and complex documents. This includes generating a table of contents and indexing terms, bibliographical references, illustrations, tables, and other elements.</li>
 <li>Text frames and linking capabilities for publishing tasks such as newsletters and flyers.</li>
 <li>Notes and comments feature that allows users to add comments on the side of the document. This improves readability and organization.</li>
 <li>AutoCorrect dictionary to catch typing errors in real-time and perform spell-checking as users type.</li>
 <li>AutoComplete functionality to reduce typing effort by suggesting common words and phrases to complete while typing.</li>
 <li>Support for OpenOffice OpenDocument formats (.odt, .ott, .oth, and .odm), as well as the formats used by OOo 1.x (.sxw, .stw, and .sxg) and other text document formats.</li>

 <li>Sorting options by name, last modified, size, or type.</li>
 <li>Integrated FTP access for seamless file management.</li>
 <li>File search functionality and a list of recent files for convenient access.</li>

 <li>"Exit" button closes the editor view and saves the document locally as it was downloaded from the cloud.</li>
